Quiet Week

Still trudging along. We're now halfway through RFC, with our last two (of three) tests this week. So far, the best way I've figured out how to casually describe RFC without giving away too many details is that it's sort of like a mix of Air and Space Basic Course (ASBC), some Electronic Warfare Officer (EWO) school stuff, and a quick intro as to what to expect when we get to our bases/FTU. The pace of the course is nice. We finally have enough time after work to get stuff done, like go to the gym, or cook an actual dinner. Not quite used to the heat here, though. I like to run outside, but it doesn't cool off here until at least 8 or 9 at night...and it never rains...ever. I suppose I should try and get used to it, seeing as how the climate in Vegas isn't a whole lot different.

Outside of that, we're still waiting to get any sort of dates for going to our next bases or FTUs. I'm not in any rush, yet.

That's about it, though. Not a whole lot else going on right now.
